Shift Hours: Monday Friday 9:30 AM-6:00 PM

JOB DESCRIPTION:

CA state pharmacy technician licensure is required. The national certificate PTCB preferred but not required certificate.
As a Pharmacy Technician in a growing segment of healthcare specialty pharmacy you will work with specialized and complex therapies that are delivered to patients. Key responsibilities Communication with patients prescribers and colleagues.
Frequent phone conversations emails faxes. Fulfillment of prescriptions packaging medications for shipment processing copays researching financial assistance.
Complete order entry and refills under the supervision of the pharmacist.
Inventory management and storage complete appropriate documentation such as labels log sheets and reports.
Participate in on call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needs.
Per manager: just CA state pharmacy technician licensure is required. The national certificate PTCB can be left as a preferred but not required certificate.
At least 1-year experience as a pharmacy technician. Basic computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet utilization.
Excellent customer service skills (written and verbal) a must. Specialty Pharmacy experience is a plus.
