Job Description
As our next Director PPI youll influence world-class engineering initiatives. You will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement and flawless execution across our diverse and ambitious teams. This critical role focuses on strategy deployment and value-stream mapping leadership
Qualifications and experience:
- Candidates should have a Bachelors degree or relevant experience in engineering operations science or business; a Masters degree or equivalent background is preferred.
- Solid experience with problem-solving Lean methodologies or other approaches to improving processes. Six-sigma Black Belt or Lean Expertise is a plus.
- Experienced Lean practitioner with proven experience in PPI as a Business System or similar prior experience. This includes working in the Toyota Production System (TPS) Danaher Business System (DBS) Honeywell Operating System (HOS) or other recognized Lean business system models.
- 5 years of operations and/or engineering experience working for a premier multinational organization preferred.
Knowledge skills abilities
- A hands-on track record of implementing successful Continuous Improvement (CI) elements such as: Lean Leadership (Daily Management LSW and Gemba Walks)
- Strong financial and statistical acuity with experience in building efficiency funnels and project decks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A multidisciplinary problem solver who influences leaders to develop groundbreaking target states and motivates organizational change.
- The ability to independently own initiatives and drive execution in a matrix reporting environment.
- A strong change agent demonstrating and promoting change while mentoring and facilitating teams.
- Good project management skills
- Kaizen events including standard work cell build 3P Value-Analysis/Value Engineering error-proofing material flow heijunka and kanban
