Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Fire Service Technicianto join our security business unit.
- Install program and troubleshoot fire alarm panels and associated devices.
- Service and maintain VESDA and other aspirating smoke detection systems.
- Diagnose system issues and perform repairs or escalate when needed.
- Document all work performed including inspection reports deficiencies repairs and recommendations.
- Communicate effectively with customers to review findings next steps and repair solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the team to support scheduled PMs emergency service calls and project work
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid LEA (Limited Energy/Low Voltage license or equivalent depending on state/jurisdiction)
- NICET Level IIII in Fire Alarm Systems preferred (Level II strongly preferred)
- Proven experience with VESDA or similar aspirating smoke detection technology
- Strong understanding of NFPA codes (especially NFPA 72)
- Ability to read and interpret fire alarm drawings wiring diagrams and technical documents
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on ladders/lifts as required
