Job Title: Adjunct Faculty of Business

Campus Location:Residential Campus Maxwell Center Marion IN
Summary of Position: Adjunct faculty are essential to providing a quality academic experience for Indiana Wesleyan University students. Adjuncts will employ a range of engaging teaching strategies designed to foster student learning and stimulate class discussion. Applicants must have appropriate academic or professional experience within the given academic discipline demonstrate a passion for teaching and learning and be able to integrate their Christian faith into the classroom content.
Duties and Responsibilities - Attend and lead all required class sessions
- Promptly assess student coursework and submit via Brightspace (the universitys learning management system)
- Coordinate with Division Chair and/or Academic Dean regarding classroom or student issues in a timely manner
Qualifications:According to Indiana Wesleyan University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement. |
Education - Masters degree in Business or related field
Experience - Prior post-secondary teaching experience preferred
- Industry experience preferred
Required Skills - Demonstrated subject-matter expertise and the ability to connect concepts to real-world applications
- Proficiency in using a learning management system (LMS) and other educational technology tools
- Strong interpersonal written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population
