Job Summary

Required Skills
* Working technical knowledge in order to address service work orders for PCs laptops cabling televisions projectors phones peripherals and site security equipment.

* Strong verbal and written communication skills (e.g. reporting) with the ability to run workshops for information collation.

* Works on projects of moderately medium-complex scope and able to work with intercompany teams.

* Exercises independent judgment within defined practices and procedures.

* Evaluates unique circumstances and makes recommendations.

* Basic support of datacenter and application architecture.

* Ability to plan implement and monitor computer and printer/scanner networks (e.g. file server).

* Troubleshoot basic network issues and understands the administering of switches routers and firewalls.

* Knowledge of backup tape and exchange infrastructures.

* Typically 25 years of experience.

* Ability to configure routers and switches.

* Integration and customization of hardware components on operating system and networks.

* No CCNA or similar certifications required.

* Troubleshoot basic network issues and understands the administering of switches routers Wi-Fi access points and firewalls including hard reboots of equipment like server storage devices or appliances at Client site.

Job Tasks

* Providing support for service work orders involving PCs laptops cabling AV devices peripherals and security systems.

* Supporting datacenter and application architecture at a basic level including hard reboots of onsite equipment.

* Planning implementing and monitoring networks for computers and printers/scanners.

* Troubleshooting basic network issues and assisting with the administration of switches routers Wi-Fi access points and firewalls.

* Configuring routers and switches and integrating hardware components within operating systems and networks.

* Supporting backup tape and Exchange infrastructure operations.

* Working with intercompany teams on medium-complexity projects.

* Running workshops and gathering information for reporting and documentation.

* Preparing technical documentation and reporting on assigned tasks.
