SUMMARY
The Inside Sales Representative role is accountable for providing excellent customer service with a commercial focus. The Inside Sales Representative is expected to complete daily tasks in a timely and accurate manner while meeting and exceeding quarterly targets. The ISR is responsible for prospecting and new business development. ISRs direct their effort in order to have the greatest overall impact on company results. Potential Inside Sales Representatives must possess the skillsets and capacity to develop into a Field Sales Manager role.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers via phone calls and emails.
Making accurate rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations.
Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales.
Gathering market and customer information and providing feedback on future buying trends.
Representing your organization at trade exhibitions events and demonstrations.
Negotiating variations in price delivery and specifications with sales managers.
Advising on forthcoming product developments and upselling special promotions.
Identifying new markets and business opportunities.
Recording sales and order information.
Reviewing your own sales performance aiming to meet or exceed targets.
Other duties as directed by the Commercial Manager or Sales Manager
Identify and investigate customer requirements and provide solutions to meet their needs.
Partner with outside Field Sales Managers to help drive sales and improved customer service.
Proactive outbound calling to sales leads in order to develop customer base.
Develop an excellent understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of the competition and develop strategies to gain market share based on the opportunities presented from this analysis.

Accomplishes all tasks as appropriate.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
College graduate in business preferred but not essential.
Intermediate math skills.
Strong sales experience in a relevant environment (e.g. Manufacturing B2B environment etc.).
