This Eligibility Technician 3 position serves as a team lead for the Divisions Virtual Call Center (VCC) team under the Field Services groupAs an Eligibility Technician 3 you will be performing the following:
- Serve your team as a working lead working closely with the team and leadership to develop staff.
- Assist in the training evaluation and guidance of fellow employees.
- Multi-task a variety of assignments such as casework interpreting policy and reviewing staffs case determinations.

This position joins a statewide eligibility team that supports Alaskans throughout our great state. The teams focus is to assist the public with the divisions virtual call center (VCC).

OR
One year performing similar work that developed knowledge and skills in applying program requirements to diverse situations conducting interviews and gathering information in order to obtain and verify information while working with client customers in stressful situations.
Substitution:
Post-secondary education in such fields as sociology social work psychology counseling human services vocational rehabilitation developmental disabilities behavioral sciences business public administration or accounting may substitute for the required experience (undergraduate credits: 2.67 semester/4 quarter hours 1 month).Additional Required Information

This position is currently under review as part of the Public Assistance Field Services Study; therefore the title and/or pay range currently assigned may be subject to change upon implementation of this class study.EDUCATION
