Job Summary

We are looking for graduate students majoring in Epidemiology Biostatistics Public Health Computer Science Data Science or a related field for a 12-week internship role within our Alexion - AstraZeneca Rare Disease division in Wilmington DE from May 18 2026 to August 7 2026.

Position Description:

Assist with data cleaning and data management of various types of data such as survey registry and claims/EHR data
Execute the statistical analysis of assigned projects based on RWE statistical analysis plan
Build data models and dashboards using data visualization tools

Position Requirements:

Graduate students majoring in Epidemiology Biostatistics Public Health Computer Science Data Science or a related field.
Candidates must have an expected graduation date after August 2026.
Proficiency in R SQL or Python is required
Experience working with large and complex real-world data such as survey registry claims or electronic health records required
Enthusiasm for collaboration cross-functional projects public speaking and presentation design.
Understanding of MS Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint) is required.
US Work Authorization is required at time of application.
Ability to report onsite to Wilmington DE 3-5 days per week. This role will not provide relocation assistance.
Compensation range: $41.50 per hour
