Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and patient-centered Registered Respiratory Therapist to join a high-acuity trauma-designated clinical environment. This position is responsible for delivering safe effective respiratory care supporting both diagnostic and therapeutic interventions and managing invasive and noninvasive ventilation. The ideal candidate is clinically confident highly responsive and thrives in a fast-paced multidisciplinary setting.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive respiratory assessments including evaluation of breath sounds airway patency and cuff pressures.
Perform diagnostic procedures to determine therapy needs and monitor patient response.
Administer oxygen therapy aerosolized medications and chest physiotherapy.
Assist with placement monitoring and maintenance of artificial airways.
Initiate manage and monitor invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation.
Track and respond to therapeutic progress intervening promptly when complications arise.
Support safe transport of ventilator-dependent patients.
Provide airway and ventilation support during emergency and resuscitation events.
Maintain accurate timely documentation of assessments interventions and outcomes.
Collaborate closely with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate high-quality care.

Required Qualifications

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) credential.
Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or completion of an accredited respiratory therapy program.
