POSITION SUMMARY

Field Marketing Specialist (Campaign Management Analyst) Thailand & Indochina Marketing as a competency is comprised of three key elements; 1. Strategic 2. Tactical and 3. Field marketing components.

The position described here is focused on the latter.

  • Field Marketing is further segmented into the following basic categories:
  1. Planning
  2. Internal collaboration
  3. Program execution
  4. Customer outreach
  • Each of these activities requires an awareness and adherence to programs set out at an Asia level but also high levels of energy with respect to networking and communication with in-country colleagues market influencers and ultimately end user customers.
  • The Field Marketing Specialist TH and Indochina will be involved in all aspects of the Field Marketing function as follows.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Planning

  • The Field Marketing Specialist will be assisting the Local Market Unit in Market Analysis and Customer Intelligence projects with the assistance of the regional Market Insight Lead.

Collaboration

  • A balance between centralized direction & process (yielding localized leverage) and maintaining sensitivity to local nuances and requirements is central to this role.
  • Sustained adherence to communication schedules with Manila based staff and following the regional Marketing Programs.
  • Energetic communication with colleagues and management within the local MU to ensure that all executives and functional managers have a sound and updated understanding of all marketing initiatives and how they contribute to functional business objectives.
  • Utilize the regular interaction with MU sales and staff to gain feedback on program efficacy and or potential enhancements.

Measurement: Documented interaction with the Asia Marketing Team and with the local stakeholders in Thailand and Indochina

Execution

  • The Field Marketing Specialist TH will oversee local execution of regional programs using both central and local resources and report on activity results and budgets. Program execution can be segmented by program type as follows:
    • AI Acceleration
    • Consultant engagement
    • Contractor engagement
    • Managed Partner Support Measurement:
    • Each program has a defined dashboard that the Field Marketing Specialist TH and Indochina will maintain and assist the SEA Field Marketing Lead in developing monthly / quarterly reporting on.

Outreach

  • Customers offer the ultimate guidance and opportunity to measure our success so in addition to internal networking the Field Marketing Lead may need to interact with customers and partners in the execution of the local programs. Digital and Social Media Marketing is another avenue by which the Vertiv marketing team can interact with these groups. The Field Marketing Lead will spearhead local Digital marketing and Social Media campaigns with the guidance of functional leaders Global and Regional marketing and utilizing the contacts provided by the local sales team via CRM.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree in marketing Mass Communication Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in marketing functions of similar industry
  • Strong knowledge and experience in marketing communications demand generation and media relations
  • Strong English communication skills and experience in working in a multicultural environment preferred ENGAGEMENT SCHEDULE
  • The Field Marketing Specialist TH will be required to report to the Asia Marketing Team once a week and participate in the local weekly sales meeting.
  • The Field Marketing Specialist TH will coordinate with local stakeholders and local suppliers as needed
  • The Field Marketing Specialist TH will be stationed in Bangkok Thailand office
