JUNIOR MRP CONTROLLER
Primary Function:
Under close supervision schedule and monitor all activities of production and to ensure the fullavailability of parts at the work station within theestablished timeframes. Act as the main liaisonbetween Production and Supply Management andassist Intermediate and Senior MRP Controllers asrequired.
Working Procedure:
Assure manufactured or purchased parts are available at the appropriate work requirements and transaction to maintainan accurate coverage of on the master calendar for productionreleases orders shop orders and call of material tothe warehouse with established and issues schedules for sub-assembliesbased on the master calendar (planning charts).Maintain the material master parameters to assureinventory availability optimization and totalinventory cost reduction all transactions in order to provide andmaintain accurate information in a timely fashion inSAP including that all emergency is escalated andfollowed up until resolution including the monitoringof parts retained by Quality Assurance and theirrestoration into the production methods changes to production orders toincorporate the latest revision of technicaldocumentation parts applications etc. and ensurethey updated on shop floor at all times. Ensuresthe quantities of manufactured andpurchased parts required in inventory according tovalue deadlines space and shelf life with respect tobudgetary objectives analyses gaps betweentheoretical inventory and physically verified andmanages obsolete inventory/ and implement the Plan for Every Part(PFEP) for their scope of machine loading functions and analyzefuture production BOS other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
College diploma in Industrial Engineering and/ or Bachelor degree in Operations Management or
similar
The following would be considered an asset:
o Intermediate skills in MS Excelo General knowledge Enterprise Resource
Planning systems.
o MRP knowledge
o SAP knowledge
