Serves as the first point of contact for patients families and visitors when they enter the hospital. Utilizes available resources and computer system to provide accurate and complete information to patients families and visitors. Assists patients in locating their destination.
Education and Training:
High school diploma or GED required; ability to read and write english.
Associates degree preferred.
Experience
One (1) year experience in a customer service/public interaction setting required.
Ideal candidate will offer flexibility and availability with ability to perform other duties as assigned. Current additional assignments may include operation of entrance screening and wayfinding and visitation management.
Hours of work may begin as early as 6:00 am and may end as late at 8pm with potential to could be anywhere from 2-6 hours.
Weekend and holiday availability is required.
