Ballad Health Medical Associates is seeking an experienced certified TN licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our Onsite Clinic with a manufacturer in Piney Flats TN. The position is PRN 4 hours/ Occupational Health Services focus on the health safety and wellness of :Interact with employees on a one-on-one basis to work on developing and attaining health improvement Health Maintenance wellness programs and immunizations as directed by the company and as appropriate to the company employee population. Diagnosis treatment and prevention of all occupational illnesses and/or injury. Episodic care for primary care conditions such as but not limited to: cold flu headaches muscle or joint pain. Examine patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment recommend tests to determine the extent of illness or help diagnose condition. Prepares patients for return to work after illness or injury and may act as a consultant to identify workplace health hazards. Performs OSHA regulated testing/exams to include DOT physicals and medical surveillance exams (training available). Have or develop an understanding of OSHA and other federal and state guidelines. Provide pre-employment physicals to determine work ability. Develop relationships with employees and leadership. Prescribes or recommends medications or other forms of treatment such as physical therapy diagnostic testing or related therapeutic procedures and appropriately refers to specialty as needed. Works under the direction of the occupational medicine medical director or Supervising :Occupational Medicine Ortho ED or Primary Care experience preferred. This position involves providing treatment for workers compensation injuries specialty exams develop company relationships to better understand work environments and OSHA recordables. The position is PRN 4 hours/ week.
