We are looking for aBaas Credit Risk Analystto join us at this pivotal moment share our vision and help shape the future of European banking.What you will be doing
Credit Risk Ownership for Projects- develop and implement credit policies and rules for BaaS partners from early design to ongoing performance monitoring (including participation in initial credit risk checks and review with sales team customer journey discussions and solution testing with internal and external stakeholders).
Ensure policies align with regulatory expectations and group-level risk strategy
Verify portfolio quality of BaaS partners loan portfolio from credit risk perspective.
Credit Risk Process Definition: Leverage your deep knowledge of credit risk processes and policies to define business requirements and guide the development of solutions that align with industry best practices and regulatory guidelines.
Project Coordination: Coordinate Credit Risk projects with a focus on lending for SMEs and microentreprises and other related credit risk processes. This includes planning work tracking progress organizing meetings and ensuring key milestones are met on schedule.
Milestone Management & Reporting:Track and report on project progress ensuring that key milestones are met and communicating any delays or issues that might arise.
Cross-Department Collaboration:Facilitate communication and collaboration across Risk Business IT Legal teams ensuring that both business and technical teams understand credit risk policies and requirements.
Requirements Preparation: Collect define and document credit risk requirements ensuring they are fully understood and implemented in the development of credit risk solutions.
Implementation Support: Prepare and maintain documentation for the implementation phase supporting a smooth deployment and ensuring that all necessary steps are followed.
Ongoing Monitoring & Maintenance:After implementation assist in the monitoring and maintenance of credit risk processes ensuring continuous alignment with evolving business needs and regulatory requirements.
Skills you should have
Credit Risk Knowledge: Strong understanding of credit risk processes and policies particularly for Micro/SME lending.
Project Coordination: Proven ability to coordinate projects define key tasks manage timelines and ensure deliverables are met while working with both business and technical teams.
Strong communication highly organized proactive ownership
Documentation Expertise: Experience in preparing detailed documentation for credit risk processes requirements and project progress.
Banking & Financial Sector: Solid experience in the banking or financial services sector with a focus on credit risk management.
SQL Knowledge: Basics in SQL to analyze data and ensure alignment with business and risk requirements.
Analytical & Critical Thinking: Strong analytical problem-solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to assess risk and define business solutions.
Educational Background: A degree in Finance Statistics Computer Science Mathematics Econometrics or a related field.
Fluency in English: Strong communication skills both written and verbal to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
