Job Description:
Sysco GB is looking for a Fleet Compliance Coordinator to become a key part of our dynamic Fleet Compliance team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in safeguarding our Operators Licence and ensuring full adherence to DVSA Earned Recognition standards.
As a Fleet Compliance Coordinator youll work closely with the Head of Fleet Compliance Fleet Compliance Business Partners and all Sysco GB organisations to maintain the highest standards of driver and vehicle compliance. Your work will directly impact the safety reliability and reputation of our fleet operations
Fleet Compliance Coordinator Key Responsibilities
- Support the Head of Fleet and Fleet Compliance Business Partners in ensuring the business Operators Licence remains fully compliant and never at risk.
- Assist with departmental projects and lead initiatives related to the role.
- Develop and maintain reports that provide depots and Fleet Compliance Business Partners with insights into compliance performance and highlight potential risks. Reports will cover key areas aligned with Operator Licence commitments including:
- Road Transport Working Time Directive 2005 (reference periods weekly hours daily infringements)
- Tachograph EU infringements
- Manual entry errors
- Earned Recognition repeat offenders
- Missed safety inspections
- Ministry of Transport (MOT) compliance
- Monthly Performance Review (MPR) reports ensuring accuracy in collaboration with Fleet Compliance Business Partners
- Maintain and cleanse the driver and fleet maintenance compliance platform.
- Maintain and cleanse the Davis Driver Licence platform for nominated Transport Managers.
- Produce monthly vehicle mileage reports and validate data for European KPIs.
- Support Fleet Compliance Business Partners in ensuring all Sysco GB driver and vehicle compliance meets company KPIs and DVSA Earned Recognition standards.
- Collaborate with Fleet Compliance Business Partners to complete annual audits supply KPI data and liaise with depots for audit-related information.
- Monitor corrective actions from audits ensuring timely completion of commitments.
- Collate depot performance metrics for monthly reviews with the Head of Fleet and Fleet Compliance Business Partners.
- Regularly review Group Operator Licences for accuracy and highlight any non-conformities.
- Ensure depot vehicle allocations remain compliant and do not breach licence conditions.
- Work with the Fleet Engineering team on cross-functional projects and tasks.
- Prepare Letters of Intent (LOI) for maintenance agreements with service providers.
- Act as the primary contact for DVSA and Traffic Commissioner communications ensuring timely and compliant responses.
- Support major incident investigations by collecting data and liaising with governing bodies.
- Represent the Fleet Compliance department at internal and external meetings as required.
- Attend depot audits to support compliance development.
- Publish updates to the business regarding policy or process changes.
- Manage and analysis any related departmental invoices from suppliers
- Maintain the Vehicle Operator Licence portal to ensure accurate and up-to-date alignment with all relevant business information.
