Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our pharmacy you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications while providing exceptional patient care and support.
- Accurately dispense prescribed medications and provide clear instructions for their use
- Counsel patients on proper medication usage potential side effects and drug interactions
- Verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
- Maintain accurate patient records and medication histories
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient treatment plans
- Compound medications when necessary
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian healthcare regulations and pharmacy practices
- Participate in continuing education to stay current with pharmaceutical advancements
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution
- Valid pharmacist license in Saudi Arabia
- Current registration with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS)
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a licensed pharmacist
- Profound knowledge of pharmaceuticals drug interactions and side effects
- Strong analytical skills for prescription verification and drug interaction analysis
- Excellent patient counseling and communication abilities
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software and inventory control systems
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and patient safety
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in Arabic and English
- Familiarity with Saudi Arabian healthcare regulations and local drug formularies
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
