About the opportunity:

In this role you will operate and conduct minor servicing on heavy-duty trucks and related equipment including right-hand drive automated garbage collection vehicles. When not driving the automated garbage truck your additional responsibilities will include garbage and litter cleanup cleaning garbage carts and performing repairs and deliveries.

About your background:

You have completed Grade 12 and possess a valid full-privilege Class 3 BC drivers license with air endorsement (or an equivalent from another province). Furthermore your drivers abstract must reflect a safe driving record. You also have at least one year of experience as a truck driver operating on public roadways along with training in the operation of heavy-duty trucks. Additionally you have a solid understanding of the methods and procedures for collecting transporting and unloading solid waste. Ideally you are qualified to operate tandem axle right-hand drive automated garbage trucks; however if you are an experienced truck driver we will provide the necessary training.
