Inviting applications for the role of Management Trainee/Proofreader!
The Proofreader plays a critical role in the execution of the Proofreading teams tasks. The Proofreader works directly with the Proofreading Manager and team to ensure quality and accuracy of member-facing projects in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
Proofreads documents for grammatical mathematical typographical and compositional errors. Corrects errors.
Ensures standardization and consistency.
Ensures adherence to project branding style and technical style guides as applicable.
Performs work under direct supervision.
Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
Possesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter.
Proofreads reviews and edits documents for accurate use of grammar and content.
Detail oriented.
Organizational skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Problem-solving skills.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in relevant field with Relevant/Significant years of experience working as editor/proofreader.
Proficiency in American English language is essential.
Excellent English language editing skillshands-on experience of editing and proof-reading content is essential.
Ability to complete tasks under deadlines while following the required guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Excellent Communication skills Communicate effectively in oral and written form.
Familiar with AP Style.
