Multi-Discipline Engineer III -W-TRS Schofield Barracks Hawaii
Job Summary:
V2X is seeking an experienced Engineering Lead to oversee a multi-disciplinary team supporting the Training Center Instrumentation System (JPRMC) and its associated networks and frequency spectrum. This leadership role involves managing the full lifecycle of engineering programsfrom proposal and design through implementation testing sustainment and modernizationensuring alignment with local JPRMC IS and Department of Defense (DoD) objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of 1520 engineers and technical staff ensuring delivery of high-quality system solutions and career development.
- Oversee engineering execution for JPRMC IS and training networks including RF systems system/network administration and system integration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders (Chief Engineers Program Managers and Technical Leads) to drive proposals ensure compliance and exceed customer expectations.
- Provide technical oversight of subcontractors and guide strategic workforce planning and succession management.
- Support business development efforts through engineering input on proposals white papers and technical roadmaps.
- Deliver detailed technical reports highlight engineering milestones and represent V2X in customer and leadership briefings.
Required Qualifications:
- 8 years of engineering experience in the DoD sector.
- Expertise in system/network administration RF coverage analysis cybersecurity and system lifecycle management.
- Proven ability to lead mentor and develop technical staff to include engineers and field technicians.
- Strong communication proposal development and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with CTC operations and rotational support
- Experience with spectrum management tools and RF planning software
- Familiarity with RF path analysis coverage modeling and antenna design/selection principles
- Ability to perform as a proposal leader with experience in capture management: creating/reviewing RFPs SOWs BOEs tech volumes and proposals
- Understanding of software design and implementation in embedded systems for DoD platforms
- Experience with commercial-off-the-shelf security technologies and trusted products
- Knowledge of reverse engineering principles and methods
- Experience in Network Design implementation and support.
Security Requirements:
- Active DOD Secret Clearance
Education Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Science Technology Engineering and/or Mathematics and 10 years of relevant experience - or
- Masters degree in Science Technology Engineering and/or Mathematics and 8 years of relevant experience
Salary Range - $135000.00 - $175000.00
