Job Summary
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Medical/Surgical Telemetry Float
Location: Falmouth MA
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Rotating Days 7:00 AM 7:00 PM (36 hrs/week)
Pay Rate: $55 - $60 per hour
Requirements:
2 years Med/Surg Tele RN experience required
Must have IV experience and be able to perform phlebotomy independently
Travel experience preferred
Position Summary:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) Medical/Surgical Telemetry Floatfor an exciting job in Falmouth MA.
Responsibilities:
Provide care utilizing the nursing process and as part of an interdisciplinary team
Administer medications safely and monitor patient response
Manage patients on telemetry monitoring IV therapy chest drainage and post-operative care
Respond appropriately in emergency and urgent situations
Provide patient and family education
Document care accurately using Electronic Medical Records
Practice according to entity policies department guidelines and age-specific patient needs
Identify and report signs of neglect/abuse as required by law
Maintain appropriate licenses certifications and training
Education & Certifications:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Current RN licensure in Massachusetts
BLS certification
Completion of Medical/Surgical IV Medication Module
Basic Arrhythmia certification
