Job Summary
Pay: $17 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time MondayFriday
- Lead a 2-year-old classroom and maintain a safe nurturing and developmentally appropriate environment.
- Implement The Learning Experiences L.E.A.P. Curriculum supporting social emotional cognitive and physical development.
- Guide and mentor assistant teachers to maintain high classroom standards.
- Build strong relationships with families through daily communication and developmental updates.
- Support routines including potty training transitions meals and rest time.
- Maintain compliance with NJ DCF licensing requirements and center policies.
- CDA credential (Child Development Associate) preferred.
- At least 6 months of classroom experience with toddlers/preschoolers (1 year preferred).
- Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
- CPR/First Aid preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Must meet all New Jersey childcare licensing standards.
