Our client is a major player in Non Food Retail sector and is a household name with high profile shops nationwide. Theyve had an incredibly successful year in 2025 and are keen to strengthen their teams in their Dublin based stores for 2026.

The ideal candidate would be an experienced senior Trainee Manager or department Manager or senior manager role from another retail environment. Someone who enjoys being in charge of their own sections has a team of staff reporting to them and capable of making decisions on their own and thrives in a fast paced retail operation .

We have several open management roles across Dublin to meet different criteria for candidates applying depending on where you are based.

Yearly base salary Neg DOE 37000 -hour contract including generous discount and much more benefits.

Responsibilities for this Retail Department Manager Job:

Support senior management to achieve sales maintain standards supervise teams and drive success in the store
Ensure you and your team abide by all company policies and procedures
Manage your own stock inventory taking a proactive approach in investigating discrepancies and train staff on proper inventory management
Being creative and innovative by studying and implementing advertising sales promotion savvy merchandising and display plans to drive customer engagement
Take full ownership of your own department or departments effectively leading your own team by motivating and training your colleagues to perform in their roles as well as taking responsibility for how your department performs controlling schedules stock inventory customer feedback.
Dealing with customer queries and complaints as per the company policies.
Running shifts as the main manager in charge opening and closing the store correctly ensuring the store runs smoothly and maintains the standards expected of the brand
Act as a point of contact for staff grievances requests and performance issues

Requirements for this Retail Assistant Manager Job:

3 years of retail management experience ideally within an environment that is dynamic focused around customer experience challenging and fast paced
Must be highly confident leading and motivating teams can de-escalate issues with staff in a professional way encourage high performance from your teams
As well as we are looking for managers who have good knowledge of retail systems can analyse figures sales trends control stock levels and can order large bulky products
You must be someone that thrives working in a high-pressured shop environment busy and fast changing.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Flexible to work various management shifts opening times are generally 9am and 9pm closing shifts.
