Our client is a family-owned company and leading FMCG manufacturer based in the Suffolk area.
Job Role & Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and install agricultural machinery systems and vehicles across multiple sites with a mix of workshop and on-site work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service and repair tractors trailers and cutting machinery
- Install and maintain feeders drinkers heaters water/gas lines
- Diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical faults (230v/415v & vehicle electrics)
- Perform light plumbing and electrical work
- Respond to breakdowns and support system installs
- Assist the Agricultural Maintenance Manager as needed
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Mechanical engineering background (BTEC Level 3 or equivalent)
- City & Guilds 3905 or similar in vehicle mechanics
- Hands-on experience with agricultural machinery
- Basic plumbing and electrical skills
- Strong problem-solving and self-motivation
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in agriculture plant or service maintenance
- Able to stay calm under pressure and juggle varied tasks
- Good communication and independent working
