Job Role & Key Responsibilities:
Were recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading UK FMCG manufacturer. This is a great opportunity for someone with a proactive mindset who enjoys continuous improvement and mentoring junior engineers in a structured and high-performing environment.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Conduct reactive and planned electrical maintenance on production line machinery
- Diagnose and resolve faults on automated equipment
- Drive continuous improvement to boost efficiency safety and performance
- Support and collaborate with internal teams and contractors
- Provide mentoring and technical support to apprentices
- Maintain up-to-date training and knowledge relevant to the role
Desirable Skills:
- Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship or Engineering qualification
- Experience in FMCG or heavy industry environments
- Strong fault-finding skills on automated systems
- Passion for mentoring and team development
