Overview
We are seeking an Electrically Biased Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to provide engineering support across a fast-paced Food/FMCG manufacturing site during peak operational demand.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery
- Electrical fault finding on motors sensors control panels and automation equipment
- Support mechanical maintenance tasks as required
- Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise production downtime
- Complete maintenance records inspections and engineering documentation
- Work to site H&S standards safe isolation procedures and engineering compliance
- Assist with installation testing and commissioning of machinery where needed
Required Experience & Skills
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer within Food Beverage or FMCG manufacturing
- Strong electrical bias with mechanical competency
- Confident fault finding on industrial equipment and control systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Level 3 NVQ / City & Guilds / HNC/HND in Engineering (or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of safe working practices and permit-to-work systems
- Immediate availability preferred due to urgent workload requirements
