Senior Manager Software Development, AWS Vulnerability Management

AWS Security is looking for a Senior Manager Software Development Engineer (SDE) to focus on building and scaling our vulnerability management platforms. The AWS vulnerability management organization is responsible for the data platforms that enable AWS builders to manage vulnerabilities and keep their services up to date.

As a Senior Manager you will lead multiple engineering teams to define the vision strategy and execution plan. You will deliver highly extensible systems that impact every engineer in AWS. You will bring clarity to ambiguity architecting infrastructure that dramatically improves the agility usability and extensibility of our solutions. Your technical leadership will shape the future of how vulnerability management is done across AWS.

- 10 years of engineering experience
- 5 years of engineering team management experience
- 10 years of planning designing developing and delivering consumer software experience
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
- Experience managing multiple concurrent programs projects and development teams in an Agile environment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $198100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $342300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
