Job Summary
To become acounseling intern in Poudre School District please complete theCounseling Intern application is forplacements starting inspring 2026.
To be considered for acounseling intern placement in one of our schools you should:
- be entering your final semester/yearof acounseling preparation program
- be able to pass a criminal background check including submitting a complete set of fingerprints to the Colorado Department of Education/PSD
- be enrolled in a college/university that has a signed internship agreement with PSD (see below)
Placements will be completed with the following criteria:
- availability of qualified staff/counselor(s) in requested areas
- willingness of schools/staff to take an intern
- outcome ofinternship interview between principal counselor lead/supervisor and prospectiveintern
