Developer – Financial Trading, Microservices & Secure Payment Systems

Job Summary

Synechron is seeking an experienced .NET Full-Stack Developer with a strong background in financial services and trading this role you will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining high-performing secure trading risk management and back-office applications. Collaborating closely with domain experts quant teams and infrastructure specialists you will deliver scalable solutions that meet complex workflow performance and regulatory standards. Your contributions will support Synechrons strategic goal of providing innovative financial technology solutions enhancing operational efficiencies and improving client satisfaction.

Software Requirements

Required:

• Extensive experience with Core C# and .NET Framework (7 years)

• Front-end frameworks: Angular or React with at least 3 years of hands-on experience

• Development of REST APIs microservices architecture and WebSocket-based communication

• Relational database experience: SQL Server T-SQL and database schema design

• Version control expertise: Git or equivalent

• Experience designing and working within CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment

Preferred:

• Cloud platform experience: Azure and AWS

• Knowledge of FIX Protocol and market data feeds used in trading environments

• Experience with low-latency system architecture and real-time trading platform design

• Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra

Overall Responsibilities

• Develop customize and optimize end-to-end scalable applications supporting trading risk and reporting functions

• Build robust backend systems leveraging Core C# and microservices to handle high transaction volumes

• Create interactive responsive front-end interfaces using Angular or React frameworks

• Integrate with third-party APIs market data feeds and trading platforms ensuring high security and low latency

• Collaborate with domain experts traders and infrastructure teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions

• Implement and maintain security compliance and performance standards specific to financial services

• Conduct design and code reviews and maintain comprehensive technical documentation

• Support deployment testing and troubleshooting across development staging and production environments

• Stay abreast of industry and technology trends to promote continuous improvement and innovation in platform architecture

Technical Skills (By Category)

Programming Languages (Essential):

• C# (.NET Core Framework) JavaScript

Preferred:

• TypeScript Java or other scripting languages for automation and integration

Databases / Data Management:

• SQL Server T-SQL database schema design and query optimization

• Knowledge of market data systems and protocols

Cloud Technologies:

• Basic experience with Azure and AWS cloud environments for deployment and scaling

Frameworks and Libraries:

• Core Angular React

Development & Methodologies:

Experience Requirements

• 7 years of full-stack development experience primarily in financial or trading applications

• Proven experience designing and supporting high-throughput low-latency trading or risk management systems

• Strong understanding of financial workflows market data feeds and trading protocols (FIX proprietary APIs)

• Experience working within highly regulated environments and ensuring compliance with industry standards

• Prior exposure to cloud deployment scalable architecture and security management in financial technology systems

Day-to-Day Activities

• Translate business requirements into technical designs and scalable solutions

• Develop enhance and test backend systems supporting trading risk and back-office operations

• Build and improve interactive intuitive frontend applications using Angular or React

• Integrate external data feeds third-party APIs and trading platforms ensuring security and performance standards

• Conduct code reviews optimize performance and troubleshoot production issues

• Collaborate with business quant and infrastructure teams in sprint planning and project reviews

• Document configurations system architecture and best practices

• Monitor system performance security and compliance implementing improvements proactively

• Stay updated on industry trends and technological evolutions in trading and financial systems

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field

• 7 years of hands-on experience in full-stack development within financial or trading environments

• Experience deploying high-performance secure financial applications

• Relevant certifications (e.g. Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Certified Trading System Developer) are a plus

• Demonstrable proficiency in secure coding regulatory compliance and performance tuning
