We are recruiting for a Portfolio Monitoring Executive / Senior Portfolio Monitoring Executive to join our Portfolio Monitoring team.
Through proactive monitoring of portfolio debt investments the Portfolio Monitoring team seek to develop investment opportunities and minimize the risk of financial loss to the Development Bank.
The post holder will need to build close working relationships internally and with external business introducers and service providers to increase their market knowledge and ability to provide added value to portfolio clients. A comprehensive understanding of the post holders portfolio will be maintained through routine monitoring and contact. Where investments have been identified as either being at risk or having significant growth potential make suitable cross references to the most appropriate portfolio team.
Strong banking technical skills attention to detail and a proactive hands on approach are essential prerequisites for this role.
Senior Portfolio Monitoring Executive
In addition the Senior Portfolio Monitoring Executive will manage the Development Bank of Wales larger and more complex portfolio investments. The Senior Portfolio Monitoring Executive will have line management of Portfolio Executives and will be responsible for appraising and assessing and sanctioning applications forfollow-on investments. The Senior Portfolio Executive may be required to deputise for the Portfolio Manager on occasion.
