INTERNSHIP TYPE: Internship - Masters Level
HOURS/SCHEDULE: 10 hours/week Monday-Friday flexible to accommodate schedules.
PROGRAM/LOCATION: Child Outpatient East Hartford CT
ABOUT THE PROGRAM:CHILD OUTPATIENT
Psychiatric and diagnostic evaluation and treatment is provided to children adolescents and families.
PROGRAM OUTLINE:
By participating as a Masters Level Intern with CHR you can expect to gain firsthand experience and training related to clinical mental health & substance abuse evaluation and treatment as well as other services including assessment working on independent living skills outreach treatment services and medication evaluation and monitoring.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Must be enrolled in a Masters degree program in mental health field.
Experience: Demonstrated experience in mental health treatment preferred but not required.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Valid drivers license
