About the roles
The School of Psychology are seeking to recruit multiple positions commencing in early 2025.
The Lecturer in Counselling Education-focused Academic will lead unit teaching teams in PACFA and ACA accredited PG counselling programs to improve the student learning experience and outcomes. The position will initiate design and conduct productive high-quality scholarship and creative activities to enhance student experience and teaching learning outcomes in their discipline area
The Senior Lecturer in Counselling Education-focused Academic provides leadership at both the unit and course level overseeing curriculum design assessment and teaching quality across entire programs. It integrates industry and research insights into course development mentors and builds capability in colleagues and drives innovation in teaching and learning. The role also involves leading pedagogical research projects and contributing significantly to the disciplines educational scholarship.
Both these positions are suited to people with an emerging record and passion for learning and teaching a keen interest in contributing to community engagement for teaching and employability.
