We need a Senior Architect to lead the design of the core platform that will host and orchestrate AI agents across the enterprise defining the architecture security standards and microservices patterns that underpin this transformation.
The Opportunity
We are partnering with a major UK Telecommunications provider to deliver their flagship Agentic AI transformation program. Operating from our Innovation Hub in Athlone we are building a CTO 2.0 ecosystem moving our client from legacy manual workflows to an intelligent automated operating model powered by Autonomous AI Agents.
This is not a theoretical R&D project; we are deploying production-grade Generative AI and Digital Twin solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to revolutionize critical infrastructure. Our scope spans multiple high-impact domains including:
Fixed Access Engineering
Core Network Engineering
Data Centre Sustainability
As the Core Transport & Fixed Technical SME you will act as the Technical Brain for the network backbone working alongside AI Architects and Software Engineers to decode the engineering logic required to plan design and configure the Core IP Optical Transport and Fixed Access networks.
Key Responsibilities
Own the high-level design of the Agentic Platform on Google Cloud (GCP).
Define how microservices AI models and data pipelines interact securely.
Establish governance patterns for Generative AI including RAG frameworks and TSA compliance.
Define API contracts (OpenAPI/Swagger) and event-driven patterns (Pub/Sub).
Act as the Design Authority reviewing and approving architectural artefacts across teams.
Lead solution design of the integration and orchestration frameworks across telecom environments.
Must-Have Skills
5 years operating as a Senior/Lead Solution Architect.
Deep expertise in architecting on GCP (Cloud Run GKE Apigee IAM).
Proven experience designing platforms integrating Vector Databases LLMs and Big Data pipelines.
Mastery of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
Deep domain expertise across RAN Core OSS/BSS and network automation.
Demonstrated capability designing large-scale distributed telecom systems.
Hands-on proficiency with cloud services across GCP/AWS/Azure.
