A large high-performing secondary school in Oxford is seeking to appoint a School Business Manager from January 2026. The school is looking for a strategic motivated professional to oversee finance HR compliance and site operations in an established support team. Experience and Qualifications
Prior experience as a School Business Manager Finance Manager or similar leadership role within education
Professional qualification desirable (CIPFA AAT ACCA School Business Management qualification or equivalent)
Strong financial management and budgeting experience
Ability to lead HR operations compliance procurement and estates functions
Excellent communication organisational and people-management skills
Commitment to safeguarding and maintaining high standards of compliance
Salary
Salary for this School Business Manager role will be paid to scale on a direct permanent contract dependent on experience and qualifications.
