A highly successful academy in Nottingham is looking to appoint a School Business Manager from January 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SBM or an operations professional looking to step into a senior leadership role.

The SBM will join a robust Operations Leadership team overseeing Finance HR IT Data Premises and Administration. The school has undergone significant investment including new science labs refurbished classrooms enhanced outdoor learning spaces and upgraded digital systems.

Experience and Qualifications
Experience as an SBM or in a senior finance/operations role
Strong financial management and strategic planning skills
Knowledge of HR H&S procurement and compliance processes
Relevant qualifications (AAT CIPFA CSBM/DSBM HR qualifications) advantageous
Ability to lead teams effectively and support whole-school improvement
Strong communication analytical and organisational skills
Salary
Salary will be paid to scale on a direct permanent contract depending on experience.
