A supportive school in Slough is seeking a committed KS2 Teacher to join their team from January 2026 with full induction and handover provided before January 2026. The KS2 Teacher will teach within a well-resourced key stage delivering sequenced units in English mathematics and foundation subjects while running guided-reading sessions and targeted interventions.

About the role
The KS2 Teacher will plan progressive lessons that build core subject knowledge develop reasoning skills and promote independent learning. The KS2 Teacher will assess regularly adapt planning and collaborate with subject leads to refine curriculum delivery across Slough.
Key responsibilities
Deliver engaging KS2 lessons that support long-term learning.
Lead guided-reading groups and small-group maths interventions.
Use assessment to identify priorities and adapt planning accordingly.
Work with support staff to deliver targeted structured intervention.
Communicate progress clearly to families and contribute to moderation.
Person specification
Qualified teacher with recent KS2 experience and proven impact.
Strong behaviour management and curriculum knowledge.
Available from January 2026 with commitment to pre-start induction.
