Requirements
QTS and proven UK KS1 teaching experience
Strong knowledge of phonics (Read Write Inc or Letters & Sounds preferred)
Confident planning differentiated lessons for mixed-ability groups
Excellent communication with parents and colleagues
Skilled in formative and summative assessment
Enhanced DBS on the update service
Salary
depending on experience (MPS/UPS)
What the Job Entails
Delivering engaging well-structured lessons to a Year 1 or Year 2 class
Implementing a strong phonics program and early literacy development
Using assessment to track progress and identify learning gaps
Working alongside teaching assistants to support individual pupils
Creating a warm stimulating classroom environment
Liaising with the SENCO to support children on EHCPs
Attending staff meetings CPD and parent consultations
Leading small group interventions when required
