The Role

As a Junior Game Developer youll contribute directly to the development of Playnetics casino games from game logic to animations and visual gameplay features. Youll be working primarily with our Java-based custom game engine helping to bring slot table and crash games to life.

This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your engineering skills learn from experienced developers and contribute to high-quality game experiences seen by players around the world.

What Youll Do

Game Development

• Implement game logic based on design and product requirements

• Contribute to visually engaging gameplay features and animations

• Write resilient maintainable and clean Java code

Quality & Optimization

• Perform development verification and assist with code reviews

• Identify troubleshoot and fix bugs

• Optimize game performance for smooth polished player experiences

Agile Collaboration

• Participate in standups refinements and retrospectives

• Work closely with Developers Artists Animators Game Producers and QA

• Support the full development lifecycle from initial concept to release

What Youll Bring

Knowledge of Java Core
Tech-related education or equivalent hands-on experience
Strong English skills (B2 written and spoken)
Eagerness to learn grow and absorb feedback
Curiosity and a passion for problem-solving
A collaborative mindset and willingness to work cross-functionally

Bonus Points If You Have

Experience with TypeScript
Background in casino game development
Familiarity with JIRA GitLab Maven
Understanding of algorithms design patterns and SOLID principles
