About the Role

Station Medical Center is looking for a reliable hardworking and detail-oriented Maintenance/Janitor to join our facilities team. This position is essential to keeping our buildings clean safe and welcoming to all visitors and staff. Youll perform daily janitorial and light maintenance duties both inside and outside the facility.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize restrooms; restock paper towels soap and supplies
Empty trash cans and dispose of waste properly
Dry mop common hallways and dispose of debris
Maintain building exterior and grounds: remove trash weeds cigarette butts etc.
Complete daily work orders and necessary documentation
Sweep island curbs nightly
Work at other properties and assist with special maintenance projects as assigned

As-Needed Tasks:

Replace interior and exterior lights using a lift
High dusting of windows and light fixtures
Lawn care: mowing trimming watering and applying weed control
Clear snow and ice from walkways and apply salt as needed
Use golf cart for property transport as required

Safety & Equipment:

Notify supervisor of all contractors on-site and verify log-in
Maintain cleanliness of tools and equipment
Report missing or damaged equipment immediately
Attend monthly safety meetings and follow all safety protocols including PPE use

Work Environment & Communication:

Communicate effectively with the Facility Supervisor
Relay any facility or security concerns
Demonstrate self-motivation and initiative in daily responsibilities
