As a Facility Technician position at Horizon you will
- Perform general repairs including plumbing electrical floor covering painting wall repairs and seasonal needs.
- Troubleshoot all building systems to proactively maintain building operations.
- Coordinate with vendor and subcontractors
- Complete all appropriate paperwork.
- Take direction from the Property Manager on issues concerning property management and maintenance. Manages productivity and daily job responsibilities
- Perform cleaning repairing maintaining constructing renovating demolishing and moving building systems as needed. Ensures that building meets all appropriate compliance.
- Perform universal precautions and uses personal protective equipment follows all OSHA DOH and building regulations.
- Perform regulatory building audits inspections maintains reports and tracking systems to provide a safe and healthy environment for all clients and staff.
- Manage a preventative maintenance program for building systems.
- Provide oversight of all exterior property conditions
- Additional duties may be required but are not limited to the following: renovation projects including alterations of walls carpentry drywall electrical doors ceilings plumbing floor covering and paint
- Communicate effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Navigate and utilize computer-based work order system.

- Previous maintenance experience preferred.
- Open to specialties including but not limited to plumbing electrical patch work HVAC home repairs etc.
- Experience in cleaning repairing maintaining constructing renovating demolishing and moving building systems.
- A clean valid NYS drivers license three years of driving experience and reliable transportation to travel locally on a regular basis.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.

This position is location at 291 Elm St Buffalo NY.
Position Hours
This position is full-time Tuesday - Saturday from 11:00am - 7:00pm.
Compensation
Horizon is consistently evaluating our compensation and benefit packages to ensure we remain competitive. The range of pay for this position is $18.46-$20.84. Starting pay may be impacted based on experience and education. Compensation adjustments are evaluated annually.
Physical demands associated with this position include:
- Stationary posture alternating between standing and sitting
- Ascending/descending on various structures (e.g. ladders)
- Local travel between worksites
- Operating machinery/power tools and occasional operation of company owned motor vehicles and heavy equipment
- Lifting objects up to 50 pounds occasionally up to 100 pounds
- Exposure to various environmental conditions including low/high temperatures and outdoor elements
