Job Summary

DeVivo Truck & Trailer currently has a full-time Technician opening at our location in Lancaster NY. This position works at a customer facility and will help maintain a fleet of 140 dry vans 120 reefer trailers and 6 yard horses. This is a 3rd shift 4-day work week position (Tuesday and Wednesday 9 PM to 7 AM Thursday and Friday 7 PM to 7 AM).

Compensation of $20-46/hour

Primary Responsibilities:

Maintain and repair fleet of trailers per industry standards
Follow established technical & administrative processes
Complete repair orders and parts usage forms PM lists and parts accountability
Communicate effectively with supervisor team members & customers
Remain current on technical & regulation requirements
Perform road service calls perform road rescue/transport equipment as required
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules regulations and government guidelines

Position Requirements:

2 years experience as an automotive truck bus or trailer technician
Ability to prioritize and complete job assignments
Proficient with computer operation/usage
Valid drivers license CDL preferred
Reliable motivated strong work ethic can-do attitude
Owns and maintains the proper hand tools to perform job functions
A New York State motor vehicle inspector certificate is preferred but not required
