Position Purpose
Under moderate supervision the technician performs electrocardiograms holter monitors stress test cardiac monitoring on inpatients and outpatients of all ages as required and / or directed according to established standards and policies.
What you will do
- Responsible for processing studies. Position may require working at either campus.
- Keeps equipment neat and clean.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: High School graduate
- Job Knowledge/ Experience: Previous EKG technician experience.
- Licensure: None
- Certification: BCLS
- Job Skills: Technical aptitude ability to learn fundamentals of ECG recording medical terminology and other non-invasive cardiology testing. Good interpersonal skills. Good computer knowledge base.
