Our expanding nights transport team in Harworth have an exciting opportunity for a Driver Debriefer to join their team on a full time permanent basis!
As a Driver Debriefer you will be responsible for providing general administration support to the Transport Department.
Salary: 29500 per annum plus 2000 night shift allowance.
Shift: 4 on 4 off NIGHTS 18:00 - 06:00
Key Duties of a Driver De-Briefer include:
- Correctly debriefing drivers.
- Checking all timesheets for correct completion and ensuring all PODs are returned completed correctly.
- Scanning and storing PODs using Culinas document management system.
- Preparing drivers wallets and issuing delivery notes in drop sequence plus any other relevant delivery information.
- Printing all despatch notes and replenishing despatch paper as required.
- Answering the telephone and assisting with any enquiries.
- Downloading drivers cards / tachographs.
- Ensuring all estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) are communicated to Customer Services.
- Consistently updating all spreadsheets including but not limited to; change-overs run summaries and trailer check sheets.
- Departing & Completing of loads using Transport Management System (TMS).
- Ensuring all uplifts are despatched in correct loads.
- Ensure all trailers are tracked.
Qualifications :
- Attention to detail / accuracy.
- Positive and adaptable attitude.
- Excellent communication skills in order to deliver accurate information.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
- Effectively prioritise work load in order to meet set deadlines.
- Good standard of computer literacy particularly MS Office e.g. PowerPoint Word and Excel.
- Able to work as part of a team or individually.
