The Nau Research Group at Constructor University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher (m/f/d) to join our dynamic international team starting on April 1 2026.
Our research is positioned at the exciting interface of physical-organic andsupramolecular chemistry. We develop innovative supramolecular assemblies for applications in sensing catalysisand biological systems.
Our projects span:
Synthesis and optical-spectroscopic characterization of novel organic-inorganic hybrids
Fluorescent dyes chemosensors and assays
Exploring supramolecular interactions in aqueous environments
Applications in drug delivery and catalysis using host-guest complexes
Membrane transport studies using artificial vesicles and live cells
Your profile
We are looking for a talented and creative researcher with the following qualifications:
PhD in Chemistry Biochemistry or related field
Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals
Expertise in organic chemistry or biochemistry or mass spectrometry
Proficient in NMR HPLC UV-vis fluorescence spectroscopy
Familiarity with supramolecular chemistry
Hands-on experience with cellular assays would be advantageous
Proficiency in written and spoken English
Strong organizational problem-solving and teamworking abilities; experience supervising students is anasset
Interest to contribute to teaching
