About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Foodservice State Sales Manager you will be primarily accountable for achieving budgeted sales targets and development of effective sales strategies within a defined metropolitan sales territory. The territory region covers Melbournes Western & Northern Suburbs and CBD.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Managing and meeting with your existing client portfolio
  • Identifying and securing new business opportunities within your territory
  • Infiltrate and increase product categories and ranges within your customers
  • Managing the relationships with the distribution network
  • Conducting sales presentations coordinating promotions merchandising & product development
  • Planning sales activities and reporting on customer performance
  • Providing market information and feedback to management

You will have previous Sales experience within the Food Service and/or FMCG industry ideally with experience selling to QSR Hotels Restaurants/Cafes Hospitals and Industrial sectors. You will have previous success in managing and growing a sales territory and strong skills in Business Development and Account Management.

The successful candidate will be results driven and have demonstrated business acumen with a view to providing the best possible results for the company as well as adding value to the customers business. You will need to be highly organised self-motivated responsible and accountable.
