Job Summary

Position: Clinical Pharmacist
Location: Panama City FL 32405

Available Shifts:

Mixed Shift: 6:00 AM 4:30 PM & 9:30 AM 8:00 PM

Compensation:

Salary Range:
- Min: $58.15/hr
- Mid (10 years experience): $66.88/hr
- Max (15 years experience): $73.56/hr
Sign-On Bonus: $10000 (paid in 5 installments over a 2-year commitment)
Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case

Job Summary:
The Clinical Pharmacist provides comprehensive clinical and pharmacy services including supervision of pharmacy staff. This role ensures safe and effective medication use and collaborates with the healthcare team to deliver optimal patient care.

Qualifications:

1 year of recent clinical hospital experience (acute care experience within the last year required)
B.S. or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
Active Florida pharmacist license in good standing

Responsibilities:

Interpret orders and accurately transcribe or verify them in the pharmacy system
Compound and dispense medications safely
Monitor drug therapy for contraindications interactions allergies and appropriateness
Maintain the hospital formulary utilizing therapeutic interchanges and minimizing non-formulary use
Provide accurate and timely medication information to staff and patients
Assist with clinical services including drug consults nutrition support pharmacokinetics anticoagulant monitoring pain management IV-to-PO conversion renal dosing and other defined programs
Document all clinical activities and interventions accurately
Complete reports on medication errors and adverse drug reactions
Supervise pharmacy operations and support the pharmacy team
