DescriptionTo complement our existing Transaction Advisory Services offering Kroll is continuing to grow its Technical Accounting Advisory practice. This team provides commercially focused accounting advice across the entire deal continuum from the assessment of pre deal accounting complexities to post close financial reporting. The team provides specialist accounting advice to clients across a range of areas often working as part of cross-functional teams including Financial and Vendor Due Diligence Tax and Valuations.
We are seeking a high-caliber Senior Consultant looking to build on their current technical knowledge and commercial experience to take on a leadership role within this team. The individual will be responsible for driving the growth an existing book of work with a clear career progression path on an accelerated basis.

Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Preparation of deliverables for clients in particular opening balance sheet progressions to account for business combinations and accounting memorandums.
- Assisting our clients with complex technical accounting issues and providing commercial solutions to those issues on a timely basis.
- To build and maintain a network of key global relationships both internally and externally
- Consistently deliver excellent client service
- Identify potential issues and areas of complexity in the accounting policies of clients and in collaboration with the team developing remediations for those issues.
- Assisting the wider team in London and New York with client projects.
- Available to answer questions from internal teams in Financial Due Diligence Tax Valuations etc. on accounting matters they may have with their clients.
Essential traits:
Chartered Accountant with minimum 3-5 years post-qualification accounting/relevant experience.
- Ability to prioritize tasks work on multiple assignments and manage rapidly changing assignments in a team environment
- High proficiency in the use Microsoft Office with focus on Excel PowerPoint and Word
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills that help represent diverse communities
- Experience working with diverse teams
- Dedication to teamwork and strong personal integrity
- Ability to master new tasks quickly
Flexibility with work hours as needed to support the team and Krolls clients
Ability to manage confidential sensitive information
Preferred Experience and Skills
- Client-facing experience based in the US and Europe.
- Experience in the following accounting standards:
- ASC 606/IFRS 15
- ASC 718/IFRS 2
- ASC 805/IFRS 3
- ASC 842/IFRS 16
- ASC 480/ASC 815/IFRS 9
