Job Summary
Job Description: Network Engineer
As a Network Engineer at Western Lowbeds you will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining the organizations network infrastructure to ensure smooth and efficient communication across all departments. You will work closely with the IT team to troubleshoot network issues optimize network performance and ensure network security.
Job Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing network solutions to meet the organizations needs
- Configuring and maintaining network equipment such as routers switches and firewalls
- Monitoring network performance and troubleshooting issues as they arise
- Collaborating with IT teams to ensure network security and compliance with company policies
- Managing network upgrades and expansions to support business growth
- Documenting network configurations and procedures
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
- Professional certification in networking (e.g. CCNA CCNP) is preferred
- Proven experience in network design implementation and troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in network engineering
- Experience working with Cisco or Juniper networking equipment
- Knowledge of cloud networking and virtualization technologies
- Experience with network security protocols (e.g. VPN firewall configuration)
Salary & Benefits:
