As a Data Engineer at Western Lowbeds you will be responsible for designing and implementing data pipelines optimizing data workflows and ensuring data availability for analysis. Your expertise will be crucial in managing our specialized and superload transportation data effectively.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and develop data pipelines for extracting transforming and loading data from multiple sources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to data needs and design efficient solutions.
- Optimize data workflows and processes to improve data quality and accessibility.
- Implement data security and privacy measures to protect sensitive information.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues promptly to ensure smooth operations.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in SQL Python or other programming languages for data manipulation.
- Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop Spark or Kafka.
- Strong understanding of data modeling ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a data engineering role.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS GCP or Azure.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
Salary & Benefits:
The salary range for this position is between $98000 to $125000 annually depending on experience and addition to competitive compensation we offer a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance retirement plans and opportunities for growth and development.
