Are you an experienced low voltage designer who thrives on independence precision and purpose-driven work At IK Systems were looking for a Security Systems Design Engineer to lead the design and documentation of integrated security solutions - including access control surveillance intrusion detection structured cabling and more.

This is more than a drafter role. Youll own the drawing process collaborate with sales and guide technical designs that power security infrastructure for critical clients. If you know Revit inside and out have low voltage system design experience and are ready for a role where you set the pace - lets talk.

What Youll Do:

• Create and manage detailed Revit-based technical drawings for integrated security and structured cabling systems

• Partner with sales engineers during proposal phases to develop system layouts schematics and riser diagrams

• Interpret client requirements field data and specifications to produce accurate code-compliant designs

• Deliver submittal and as-built documentation in coordination with engineering and operations teams

• Own your workload and project timelines with autonomy while collaborating cross-functionally to deliver successful solutions

What You Bring:

• 5 years of drafting/design experience preferably in low voltage or systems integration

• Advanced Revit proficiency is essential

• Understanding of low voltage systems including CCTV access control intercom intrusion detection and structured cabling

• Knowledge of ANSI/TIA standards ()

• Excellent problem-solving communication and documentation skills

• Ability to work independently and proactively across departments

• Valid Drivers License required

Education:

Bachelors degree in Engineering Architecture Construction Management or related technical field - or equivalent combination of relevant experience certifications and demonstrated Revit proficiency.
