Job Summary
Do you have a passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences Highlands Bar & Grill is on the hunt for a dedicated Cook to join our back-of-house team! If you take pride in crafting delicious meals keeping the kitchen running smoothly and love working in a fast-paced friendly environment we want you on our team.

What Youll Be Doing:
- Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure that all food items are cooked to the required temperature
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and adhere to health and safety regulations
- Receive store and rotate stock items in accordance with established procedures
- Ensure that all ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality
- Monitor food preparation and presentation to ensure that it meets the highest standards
- Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items
- Assist in the training of new cooks
- Preparing and serving food and drinks to customers.
- Assembling and packing food orders in carry-out containers and bags
- Following all food safety guidelines
What Were Looking For:
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent
- Previous experience as a cook in a fast food setting
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
- Able to work quickly and accurately under pressure
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to work as a team environment.
